Radiofrequency Microneedling

Micro-needling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive treatment that has been used for decades to rejuvenate the skin. A device with fine needles or pins creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body to create new collagen and elastin.
Radio Frequency skin resurfacing is for people with an uneven skin texture caused by acne, scars, large pores or wrinkles.

How does it work?

RF micro-needling adds the element of radiofrequency energy to the traditional micro-needling procedure. The RF energy is delivered via small needles into the dermis. In addition to the benefits seen with the micro-injury provided by the traditional microneedles, RF micro-needling also delivers RF energy deep into the dermis further enhancing skin tightening and scar reduction.

The RF energy heats the underlying layers of skin, causing constriction and tightening of the skin, as well as the stimulation of collagen and elastin production. The gold plated sterilised small needle tips will insert into deep, medium and upper layer of the skin during treatment.

The Radio Frequency energy will only be released when needle tips reach the target destination of the skin, this way the surrounding skin is protected. This results in stimulating collagen and elastin production in multiple layers of the skin.
