Dermal Fillers

Dermal Filler can be used to plump or sculpt certain areas of the face. There are many different dermal fillers available. We use a number of brands and tailor the product to the clients but the best outcomes come from using Teoxane, Juvaderm and Belotero.

Nasolabial Folds & more…

What To Expect?

Your appointment will be with a doctor and she will listen to your areas of concern and discuss with you how you would like to address them.

They will explain options to you and give as much information as you’d like about the process. After deciding what treatment option you would like, they will discuss potential outcomes, including any complications that can occur and how those complications can be managed.

The area to be treated will be cleaned and sometimes your skin may be marked to ensure appropriate treatment is applied. Sometimes a strong local anaesthetic cream (also known as numbing cream) is applied to ensure your comfort during the procedure. Most products also contain lidocaine which is a numbing agent.

The treatment will then be done and some photographs will be taken afterwards for your clinical records. We will then go over the after care advice and provide written advice to take away.Occasionally we might ask if we can use your photographs for our website or social media. We will always ask written permission.

Removal

Dermal fillers can be dissolved by injecting hyalase. This is a compound containing hyaluronidase, an enzyme which breaks down hyaluronic acid in dermal filler. You will see an immediate effect but it will take 24 hours to have a full impact. It may take more than one treatment to get the desired results.

It is essential to have a patch test before doing the treatment to check you don’t have any allergies. This costs £50. The cost of the treatment varies depending on how much product is used but it starts at £180
