Glycolic Peels & Microdermabrasion (laser adjuncts)

The following treatments work well as stand alone treatments or in conjunction with laser, IPL and injectable skin rejuvenation. In fact, we highly recommend 'Combination Therapy' for optimum results.

Glycolic Acid Treatments/Peels
Glycolic Acid treatments are effective for skin complaints such as acne, superficial acne scarring , ageing skin , skin discolouration and coarse texture . Resurfacing and deeply cleansing the skin, this treatment leaves the skin texture dramatically softer and smoother, reducing depth of acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles. Generally, we recommend 2 x 40% treatments before administering the higher, 70% glycolic treatment.

The treatment is suitable for all skin colours and skin types and is particularly effective when combined with Nlite for acne, acne scarring and facial rejuvenation and IPL for rosacea and photo rejuvenation. It is important to have used glycolic preparations for a minimum of two weeks prior to a glycolic peel.

Microdermabrasion Treatment
This treatment allows us to carry out an in depth exfoliation. The Microdermabrasion handset is placed on the skin and a fine flow of microscopic crystals is directed onto the surface of the skin. The speed of the crystals, together with their abrasive nature, gently removes old, dead skin cells layer by layer. Specific attention is given to any areas of concern such as open pores, wrinkles, blemished skin & acne scarring.To finish this treatment we apply a Mini Mask which offers a cooling, soothing and hydrating effect on the skin.

The treatment is suitable for all skin colours and skin types and is particularly effective in reducing moderate early ageing signs of lines and wrinkles promoting overall rejuvenation for aged skin.

Proteolytic Enzyme Facial & Resurfacing Back Treatment (Acne):
This treatment is mainly used for exfoliation and skin resurfacing. Proteolytic describes an enzymatic reaction that occurs and digests any dead or problem matter on the skin without harming any living healthy cells. It has good skin rejuvenation properties, giving an effective improvement in skin texture and overall appearance.

Age Intervention Resurfacing Facial and Hand Treatments:
Age Intervention Resurfacing Treatment is an accelerated facial treatment that incorporates two effective topical exfoliants. The combination of Glycolic Acid and Proteolytic Enzymes safely intensifies the resurfacing action and provides measurable results for virtually any skin type. It is important to have used glycolic preparations for a minimum of two weeks prior to a glycolic peel.

C-Esta Facial and Hand Treatment
The C'esta range contains topical Vitamin C and DAE complex. This treatment is appropriate for any skin type, including those with very sensitive skin. Alongside the skin retexturing, this treatment will provide immediate and dramatic visible smoothing and firming results.

Please note: if you are currently having laser or microdermabrasion treatment with us, glycolic products must not be used 48hrs pre or post treatment. After 48hrs, continue to use once per day for seven days then resume twice per day thereafter.
